As part of the FINDeRS study, the TONiC researchers have collaborated with pharmaceutical giant F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd (Roche) to combine smartphone app technology (Floodlight™ MS) with the TONiC study in MS.

What is Floodlight?

• A smartphone app designed to keep track of your MS over time

• Five simple tests:

    'pinch a tomato'

    draw a shape

    match the symbol

and if you are able…

    Walking U-turn test

    2 min walk

Study design

The study will run over at least 3 years

Floodlight app tests performed weekly

Annual clinic visit assessments

Annual TONiC packs

Eligibility

• 18 or over

• Must have a smartphone which can dowlnload and open the app

• Anyone registered with The TONiC study at the Liverpool Walton Centre study site who has returned at least two, completed TONiC MS questionnaire packs.

• We are planning to open other sites in the UK soon

Notes

• Floodlight™ MS is not currently available to use in the UK outside this study
